trickpony

Trickpony is the collaborative effort of Roza Terenzi, emkay and Mike Midnight an unconventional prototype band - a trinity of alchemy conjuring soundscapes that blur the lines between dream and dissonance. Drawing from the raw energy of trip-hop and drum & bass while channeling the idiosyncratic tastes of all three producers. trickpony crafts an immersive collage of field recordings, sensual cyber jams, and droning, dub-fissured perc workouts expertly alchemising classic drum and bass/trip hop soundscapes into a contemporary trip-pop palette.

Their releases was released to high acclaim. The EP unfolds like an exquisite corpse - layers of nostalgia, lust, and luminous futurism intertwined. It’s a subconscious deep dive into desire: harmonic odes to golden-era underground sounds, tribal percussive freakouts, and dream-tinged vocal fantasies that shimmer between the earthly and the ethereal.
