Boris’ musical journey began in childhood, guided by his older brothers, who introduced him to soul and helped shape his musical horizons. His passion grew alongside a restless search for sounds that sparked emotion. Before long, he found himself behind the decks, warming up crowds at Masters Club in Zagreb and Epic Club in Osijek for the CASA and CYCLE crews. These formative experiences shaped his understanding of club culture and the history of house and disco.

Beyond the dancefloor, Boris felt compelled to explore a wider musical spectrum. Collecting records and endlessly digging through digital archives, he seeks out obscure, soulful and emotionally resonant pieces that bring people together.

A graphic designer by profession, Boris is a resident DJ at Manual Club in Rijeka and a member of the Kontrapunkt organisation. He also hosts and occasionally DJs on Radio Roža, having been involved in radio since 2000. His work extends to organising and participating in festivals and events, including The Garden Festival, Spring Festival, G. Love Festival and others.

His musical outlook draws on listening-bar culture, world music, jazz, downtempo, soul and everything in between. Inspired by the likes of Botanicar in Zagreb and the Aquarius Club, Boris brings an organic approach to his selections, creating moments that make people smile, move their bodies and connect through music. Sharing knowledge and nurturing this ever-growing community remain central to his passion — and will continue to do so for years to come.
