emkay

emkay, aka Maria Korkeila, is a Finnish DJ, producer and vocalist tracing the sensual edges of house, progressive, breaks and dub-laced electronics. Her sound is femme-forward, trippy, sassy and bouncy - balancing a playful pulse with deeper undercurrents.

From upbeat, lip-glossed rollers to moody downtempo excursions, emkay teases the dancefloor with something intimate and slightly unhinged, where breathy bedroom vocals drift through sultry basslines and chrome-tinted percussion.
