Babilonska

Babilonska (Zagreb, Croatia) is a metalhead in a basshead’s clothing. Her DJ sets unfold like high-intensity thriller soundtracks, weaving together shifting BPMs, moods and textures. A high priestess of club mysticism with a knack for transgenre storytelling, her singular sensibility synthesizes the eclectic tastes of a lifelong music nerd. A Janus-like figure with two complementary faces, Babilonska is equally capable of dragging listeners into the lowest circle of hell or building light, transcendent atmospheres.

She has performed at many festivals including Outlook Festival, Fusion Festival, MENT Ljubljana, Grounded Festival and Indigo Festival, as well as club nights across Europe and the Balkan region, including the first Croatian Boiler Room in 2021. She has shared stages with artists such as The Bug, Slikback, Blawan and DJ Travella. Her international appearances include MS Stubnitz, Hafenklang and Forum Stadtpark, alongside guest mixes for Refuge Worldwide, Cashmere Radio, Callshop Radio and Black Teeth Radio. Years of listening, DJing, organizing and curating culminated in the launch of onkraj / beyond, a platform exploring different event formats guided by an endless curiosity for how we listen to sound and music, to ourselves and each other.
